After more than 10 years in the SAP area as a functional consultant, going through so many challenges, difficulties and achievements, I decided to create this portal to share a little of what I learned during this period and mainly to help other people in the SAP market to go through fewer difficulties and be more successful in their professional activities.
I have always had the feeling that most of the information available on the SAP market (regardless of language) is extremely technical and difficult for most professionals to understand, so I decided it would be a good idea to write.
Even though I have been in the technology area for many years (exactly 18 years in 2020), I have always enjoyed writing (I have 3 books published in non-technical areas) and my goal will be to talk about various subjects (including technicians) with a simple and clear language.
What is the target audience?
This is an extremely generic question for the project, because as you can see below, I will deal with the most diverse issues related to the entire SAP ecosystem, and therefore, I recommend reading the posts to the most diverse types of professionals:
- Functional SAP consultants
- Technical SAP consultants
- Recruiters
- Project Managers
- Tax and accounting professionals
- Professional selection and recruitment professionals
- Professionals who want to enter the SAP market
- Anyone who is going to participate in an SAP project
- Curious about the market
- Anyone who wants to learn about the market
I will talk about the most diverse subjects:
- How to start in the SAP market
- Process tutorials
- Supply Chain
- Configuration tutorials
- Step-by-Step guides
- Career
- Productivity
- Explain the connection of the processes with the technical part of SAP
- Book reviews
- Interviews with market people
- Brazil location
- Taxes
- Data migration
- And much more!
My purpose is really to talk about the most diverse topics in the market, in a simple, direct, and professional way so that anyone (regardless of the level of knowledge) can benefit from investing a few minutes every week to read our posts.
Also, I see this project as a way of giving back for so many good things that the SAP world has brought me until today and for all the other blessings that I will still receive.
Note
An important detail is that practically all posts will be written in both English and Portuguese, as I intend to share all information both for Brazil and for the world.
If you have any suggestions (including subjects you would like to read about), feel free to send an email to sapsteps@sapsteps.com.
A big hug,
Bruno César
